This page is devoted to the sale of surplus property available from Hand County. All items are sold in compliance with RESOLUTION 2022-05 and the Policy referenced therein.

Generally, items, once appraised, will be placed for sale on this page. The item will remain on this page until either sold or until 10 business days pass. If unsold after 10 days, the item will be marked as “unavailable” until it can be reappraised and then made available for a second ten working day period. If the item does not sell after the second 10 day period, it will be listed as unavailable during reappraisal. The item will then become available for sale for a final 10 business day period. If the item does not sell after the third 10 business day period, it will be disposed of according to policy.
All items are first come, first served, no “holds”. All items are sold “as is” with no warranties expressed or implied. There are “no returns” or exchanges. All sales are final. Terms are cash only, or personal checks from local residents with approval of the treasurer.
